Abhik Dasgupta

Abhik Dasgupta is a Civil Engineer, Author, literary, blogger, proof-reader and book- reviewer. His other interests are software learning and website development. Having started his career in 1997 he worked for several Construction companies and Engineering firms of international repute until at the age of 38, he founded his own infrastructure consulting company.
He had an appetite for English and Bengali literary fiction since his school days and found time in between studies for devouring works of Tagore, Dickens, Conan Doyle, Bram Stoker, Satyajit Ray and Sunil Ganguli to name a few.
Abhik has written several micro-fiction, short stories and poems on various social media websites and has two novelettes on Amazon in Crime, Horror, Thrillers genres now. He is currently working on his first novel in Drama/ Romance genre expected to hit the stands in 2020. He also has a blog based on the lead female protagonist of the novel. Recently he has started blogging on 'Times of India' on various current affairs topics.
